What is the difference between a transistor and a mos tube?
The MOS transistor is a metal-oxide-semiconductor (semiconductor) field effect transistor, or metal-insulator (insulator)-semiconductor. The source and drain of MOS tube can be switched. They are both N-type regions formed in P-type backgate. In most cases, the two regions are the same, even if the two ends are switched, the performance of the device will not be affected. Such devices are thought to be symmetrical.

In a strict sense, the transistor refers to all semiconductor materials as the root of a single element, including a variety of semiconductor materials made of diode, transistor, field effect tube, silicon controlled rectifier and so on. A transistor is sometimes a multi-finger transistor. Transistors fall into two main categories: bipolar transistors (BJTs) and field effect transistors (FETs).
The transistor has three poles; the three poles of the bipolar transistor are composed of N-type and P-type emitter (Emitter), base (Base) and collector (Collector); the three poles of the field effect transistor are source (Source), gate (Gate) and drain (Drain).
