What are the precautions for the use of solid state relays?
When selecting solid state relays, we should analyze the corresponding conditions, research manuals, detailed standards and product technical performance and parameters. At the same time, we should note that the performance parameters and load of solid state relays can be greatly affected by ambient temperature and its own temperature. Its input has polarity request. When rational and capacitive loads are used, the output circuit is easily damaged by sharp seal voltage and surge current, power loss and heat dissipation caused by the on-state voltage drop. How to use multimeter to detect SCR?
The controllable silicon is divided into two kinds, which are three electrodes. The unidirectional thyristor has a cathode (K), an anode (A), and a control pole (G). The bidirectional thyristor is equivalent to two single thyristors in reverse parallel. That is, one of the one-way silicon anodes is connected to the other cathode side, its leading end is called T2 pole, one of the one-way silicon cathodes is connected to the other anode, its leading end is called T2 pole, and the rest is the control pole (G). Discrimination of single and bidirectional thyristors: first measure two poles. if the positive and negative measurement pointers do not move (r× 1 gear), it may be a, k or g, a (for bidirectional thyristors) or T2, T1 or T2, g (for bidirectional thyristors). If one of the measurement instructions is tens to hundreds of ohms, it must be a one-way thyristor. And the red pen is connected to the K pole, the black pen is connected to the G pole, and the rest is the pole. If the positive and reverse measurement instructions are tens to hundreds of ohms, it must be a two-way thyristor. Then turn the knob to R× 1 or R× 10 gear for retest, one of which must have a slightly larger resistance value, then the slightly larger red pen is connected to G pole, the black pen is connected to T1 pole, and the rest is T2 pole.

What are the main causes of thyristor breakdown?
Overvoltage breakdown is one of the main reasons for thyristor breakdown. There is no time for thyristor to accept overvoltage. Even in a short time of a few milliseconds, overvoltage will be broken down. Therefore, in practical application circuits, RC absorption circuits must be connected at both ends of thyristor to prevent sudden overvoltage caused by various irregular interference pulses. Why do solid state relays heat up?
